By accessing or using Description Deck ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Description Deck is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to help users manage, organize, and update YouTube video descriptions. The Service connects to a user's YouTube account through Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Accounts

To use Description Deck, you must authenticate using Google OAuth and connect a valid YouTube channel.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. YouTube API & Google OAuth

Description Deck uses the YouTube Data API and Google OAuth for authentication and functionality.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your use of YouTube-related features is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service
• Google may collect and process data as described in its Privacy Policy
• Description Deck only accesses YouTube data explicitly authorized by you

Description Deck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or YouTube.

6. Permissions & Data Access

With your permission, Description Deck may access:

• Your YouTube channel metadata
• Video titles and descriptions
• Other YouTube data necessary to provide the Service

We do not post, edit, or delete content on your behalf without your explicit action within the app.

7. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, manage, or edit through Description Deck.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Violate YouTube's or Google's policies
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or misleading content

9. Subscription & Payments (If Applicable)

If Description Deck offers paid plans:

• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law or by Google/YouTube policies
• The Service is discontinued

Upon termination, your access to connected YouTube data will be revoked.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Description Deck shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data
• Loss of revenue or views
• YouTube account issues or API changes

Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Description Deck from any claims arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your YouTube content
• Your violation of these Terms or third-party policies

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
